Level 1:
Proficiency in the English language is required. No prior experience is needed—this course is suitable for beginners to experienced learners.

Level 2:
Completion of the IIRT Level 1 course is required.

To be fully certified at Level 1:

  • Attend our course
  • Pass the exam
  • Submit a 10-page report along with a passport-sized picture, your full name, and company address.

IIRT ensures trainees are fully prepared for proficient infrared inspections. If you lack an infrared camera or worksite access for image capture, we offer opportunities to use our equipment to capture essential images for your report. Plus, with a flexible 2-months report submission period, you’ll have ample time to complete it and achieve certification.

Currently, we do not have any government-subsidised programs, but we offer 1-Day Quickstart Intro Courses, Group Discounts, and Special Early-Bird rates to introduce you to the field without a significant initial investment. Contact us for details.

Bringing your own thermal camera is encouraged but optional.

While we provide personalised advice to maximise your thermal camera’s utility, we also provide Professional Thermal Cameras for course use.

You can test out and compare various models for a diverse and engaging hands-on experience. Models available include Fluke, Flir, Uni-T, Seek Thermal, and more.

We encourage participants who are looking to purchase an IR camera to attend the course before buying, we’ll be covering topics on how to choose the right camera.

We discuss thermal camera specifications like Resolution and Image Quality, Temperature Range, Thermal Sensitivity, Field of View and Adjustable Focus—enabling you to select a thermal camera that aligns perfectly with your needs.

You will also get to trial other camera brands and types to get a better feel of what is required for your work.

Your enrolment in our training course will be reserved upon full payment.

Level-1 Infrared Certification is valid for 2 years and can be renewed after.

Upgrading to Level-2 Certification grants you irrevocable LIFETIME validity, eliminating the need for future renewals.

Should you require a Post-Course Refresher Workshop (usual price $450), however we offer them FREE for IIRT Graduates.

We offer flexible options. You can nominate another individual to attend in your place or reschedule your attendance to a future session, subject to IIRT’s approval and capacity limits.

We recognise that unexpected commitments can arise. If your course fees are paid in full, we can arrange on a case-by-case basis to provide essential coaching for any sessions missed. This ensures you’re still eligible for certification. Plus, our package includes a free 8-Hour Post-Course Refresher Workshop to help you catch up at your convenience.

Our experienced trainers are dedicated in helping participants acquire the necessary skills and knowledge required to get certified as an official qualified Infrared Thermographer.

We are constantly ensuring that our training is of the highest quality with:

  • Extensive Practical: Plenty of hands-on experience through in-class practical activities.
  • Ample learning support: including comprehensive notes and access to an extensive online student resource portal.
Participants must attend at least 75% of the course, complete the exam with a pass or competent result.

Refunds will be on a case by case basis, with minimum of 30 days prior to course dates. Should it be necessary, we will arrange a postponed date for the participant to attend our next available class.

Typically, the cost for an Infrared Inspection is estimated S$800 to S$1,000 per day (depending on the size of the facility). For optimum preventive maintenance scheduling, it is recommended that these inspections to be conducted on a periodic basis or at least annually. This cost saving is on top of any emergency rectifications on unforeseen equipment failures and possible operating system downtime.

L1 – Proficiency in English Language – ability to read, speak and write.

Our training is designed to be easy to understand for everyone, no matter their experience level.

L2 – Minimum 6 monthsas am active certified Level 1 Thermographer.

If your company already has cameras, we recommend bringing them to the course. This will help you become more familiar with your own equipment.

If you haven’t purchased a camera yet, attending the class and experimenting with the different models we have available can assist you in making an informed decision.

We process reports even 2 months.
